Q: Do I need to have any background before joining ZPS Wushu?

A: No. We welcome any Zhangde-rens who is interested in joining us.


Q: Will I not be able to follow the pace of the training if I have never learnt Wushu before?

A: A basic training plan will be mapped out at the start of each academic year. Following the training plan, newcomers will be introduced to and drilled in the basic stances and techniques. Periodic gradings will be done to gauge the progress of everyone before moving on to more advance techniques and routines as appointed by the coach.


Q: Does ZPS Wushu take part in any competitions?

A: Yes we do. Our primary competition is the annual National Inter-School Competition. Other than that, we may also take part in National Wushu Competition and other invitational competitions.
